Born in Bolivia and based in Brussels, Susobrino creates music shaped by rhythm, movement and deep emotional connection. Blending acoustic instrumentation with electronic production, his sound moves fluidly between Latin American musical traditions, contemporary club culture and cinematic storytelling.
Over recent years, Susobrino has returned repeatedly to Latin America to reconnect with the sounds, places and communities that shaped him. Those journeys became the foundation for his expansive album SU SO BRI NO — a musical universe stretching across bolero, cumbia, folklore, filmic textures and forward-looking electronic music.
Whether performing live or behind the decks, Susobrino builds immersive sets where percussion, bass and melody create both physical energy and emotional weight. His music carries a rare balance: intimate yet explosive, nostalgic yet future-facing.
Beyond his own productions, Susobrino has also become an important curator and connector through his platform Susonidos, creating space for Latin American artists and sounds across Europe with care, curiosity and respect.
At Tromsø World 2026, Susobrino brings a performance built for both tears and dancing — music where celebration and vulnerability move together.
